VOIP Phone Systems

VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) has become a lower cost alternative to conventional phone service. VOIP Phone Systems use an internet connection to send voice communications, making it cheaper than phone lines. If you have an internet connection, then you have the ability to use VOIP.

Prime AV has partnered with Ring Central to provide VOIP service to our customers. Ring Central is a VOIP company that uses cloud storage. Cloud storage is when data is maintained and stored remotely. Similar to surveillance cloud storage, there are a number of benefits to storing your data in the cloud:

• The cost of an onsite device is expensive, typically measured in thousands of dollars. The cost of cloud storage is an affordable monthly charge. In a commercial application, the costs of an additional line are much less than an additional line for a standard phone service provider.
• Your data is stored in a secured off-site location, so you do not have to worry about data getting destroyed or stolen.
• You can access your data at any time from a computer or mobile device. Forwarding to your cell phone is easy and does not use any cell phone minutes.
• The only thing you have to purchase is a phone. The phone comes programmed, so all you have to do is plug it in. It’s that easy.
